Worst Practical Joke Ever: Passengers Mistakenly Told Plane Was Going to Crash

Passengers on a British Airways flight were mistakenly given an ill-timed announcement that the plane was about to crash into the sea. Alarms were sounded and babies started crying, pregnant women started hyperventilating and swinging their bras, grown men started shitting absolutely everywhere, it was just CHAOS. * Fortunately the flight crew realized the mistake in time to turn the alarm off and reassured the distressed passengers that they were in fact fine.

I don’t know what I’d do in that situation. I, as I’m sure several others have as well, have contemplated and wondered what I’d do if such an incident were to happen while flying in the sky. I already have a gross paranoia of turbulence so I’m pretty sure I’d collapse in a heart attack. And the chances of landing in a serene beautiful island with really attractive humans a la Lost are always slim.

There’s one silver lining though: taking that first breath of air after landing must have never tasted so sweet to those poor passengers.
