New Music Video: Drake ft. Lil Wayne “HYFR”

Huge fan of this video. LOL at the little Drizzy dancing in the beginning. A lot of positivity and good humor, and everyone’s clearly enjoying themselves.

Probably the most gangsta bar mitzvah I’ve ever seen, and I ain’t even mad at that.

Sure To Get Him Laid: Ryan O’Shaughnessy “No Name”

mystery girl by zombyguruix

19 year old Ryan O’Shaughnessy sang an original piece called “No Name” on Britain’s Got Talent last weekend. Beautiful song and great delivery for sure, but What really clinched it was the fact that it was a love letter for a friend he’s been infatuated with for several years. Female readers and viewers, can we get a collective aww?

John Mayer watch your ass, this kid’s on the up and up.

Pretty Accurate: Drake Impersonates Lil Wayne

Say what you will about Drizzy but he comes off as a cool humble guy. I know he gets his fair share of taunting on the internet for being “soft,” etc. But (side rant) why would you want to listen to “hard rappers” 24/7? They’re not going to be your friends any time soon, they’ve got an image to uphold.

I’d rather kick it with someone who’s gonna sing me melodic hooks and make me cucumber sandwiches when I’m hungry, you know? …you know?

New Music Video: Odd Future “Oldie”

I’m not even a huge fan of Odd Future but this video just makes me laugh/hyped. They shot it at a photoshoot with famed celebrity photographer Terry Richardson and simply couldn’t be controlled.

Clearly all strange characters but somehow come together melodically on every song. Frank Ocean always seems to be the odd one out but definitely seems to hold down the “big bro” role in the crew.

Why Not? This Is That Song During the Internet Explorer Commercial

In case you were wondering like I was but were too lazy to actually google it (my god I have no idea how I pulled together to do it), here is that kinda epic song that Microsoft uses for their new IE commercial.

It seems to have been around since last year but has just recently caught some steam. Called “Too Close” by Alex Clare, that little dubstep chorus really makes his vocals that much more thrilling.

New Music Video: J.Cole “Nobody’s Perfect” ft. Missy Elliot

If you ain’t know by now, let me tell you I’m a pretty big J.Cole fan. One of my favorite tracks off his debut album The Sideline Story is “Nobody’s Perfect” featuring Missy Elliot (it’s good to see you Missy!) so I’m glad they were able to connect and drop a video.

It’s one of those songs that could be both mainstream and underground and if anything, that’s probably been the key to J.Cole’s success thus far.

Skrillex – Bangarang (Official Music Video)

With 3 Grammys under his belt (and Ellie Goulding), above is the official video for Bangarang by Skrillex. Enjoy.

New Music Video: Lil Jon ft. LMFAO “Drink”

Probably going to become a part of my nightly routine before I go out, though I don’t think LMFAO or Lil Jon are going to have any fans from AA anytime soon.

First we were in Miami, then we had a whole bunch of SHOTS, and then we started party rocking, and then some more champagne showers, and now we’re going to continue DRINKing. It’s safe to say the next single should be “HANGOVER” or “PROJECTILE VOMIT.”

Skrillex & Ellie Goulding

Dubstep megastar Skrillex and British Popstar Ellie Goulding are an official item. Hope the two come out with new tracks asap, girl needs to update her ipod before leaving the country. (sugarscape)

Diplo + Usher = Magic

via hypetrak

Oh man oh man, check out this new joint by Usher (who describes this track as “strip club classic”) and Diplo. Talk about baby makin music.

New Music: Usher ft. Diplo “Climax”

I like it. It’s very subtle and subtle, fusing a sort of melodic electronic and rnb blend. It’s not exactly for the clubs but I can totally see some late night grinding going on with this in the background, maybe even some…shall I say it?

SEX? Let’s not get ahead of ourselves here.

What do you think of the single?
