“Un métier d’art pour moi”

Check out this beautiful video of Louis Vuitton designer Michel Dufrenoy taking us through the process of creating one of Vuitton’s iconic trunk. Though there is no subtitles, the imagery is incredible. In a way it’s kind of nice not to have subtitles, it allows for you to use your senses differently. I remember my freshman year of drawing class my teacher would always tell the students “draw what you see what not you know” (we did a lot of still-life/nude drawings). Sometimes I find it more interesting if you block one of your senses to enhance the others.

Once I got into fashion drawing classes.. it was like draw whatever the fuck you want. Check out my friends illustration, they are absolutely incredible. www.myrtlequillamor.com and don’t forget to ‘like’ her facebook page  while you’re at it. ‘ like’ ours too!
