Weekly Entertainment Update (Film & TV)

Wirgin Edinex II (01)

I think I’ll skip most of the Golden Globe news since you probably already know who won… if not just google it you lazy kids. The Sundance Film Festival also started on Thursday for all you independent film lovers.

So here’s pretty much everything else…

Kristen Wiig is probably not doing the Bridesmaids sequel but has booked a gig in Ben Stiller‘s remake of “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty”

Will Smith and Pete Berg are planning a sequel to “Hancock” (why don’t we see how your little “Battleship” film does first Pete)

Sean Hayes who will be starring in the Three Stooges Movie will be playing a recurring role in Parks and Recreation

Industry insiders have been speculating that Disney’s “John Carter” has gone WAAAY over budget (some estimate it around 300 Million right now) which means it MAY be one of the biggest box office tanks ever.

Elizabeth Banks might star in a live-action movie about Tinkerbell tentatively titled ‘Tink.’  It is set to be shot like Will Ferrell’s ‘Elf.’

Megan Fox is set to compete with Lindsey Lohan for the role of Elizabeth Taylor in the biopic
